KATVAAS (PVT) LTD is seeking a talented professional to join their team as a Software Engineer (QA & Development).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle both development and quality assurance tasks, including:

Understanding and analyzing business and system requirements.
Translating requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Designing workflows, data flows, and interaction models for cross-platform applications.
Preparing documentation such as wireframes, UML diagrams, and use cases.
Supporting development using C#, ASP.NET, .NET MAUI, XAML and SQL.
Assisting with database design, queries, and performance tuning.
Supporting REST API design, documentation and validation.
Contributing to Azure Cloud configuration and monitoring.
Developing and executing test plans for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Tracking and resolving defects while maintaining clear documentation.

Required Qualifications

Experience or academic exposure to C#, ASP.NET, .NET MAUI, XAML, and SQL.
Understanding of Azure Cloud (Azure Cognitive Services is an asset).
Working knowledge of REST APIs.
Ability to create and interpret wireframes, UML diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience writing and executing test cases.
Conceptual understanding of cross-platform full-stack development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and professional English communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Net monthly salary targeted at a take-home of LKR 100,000 (subject to statutory deductions).
Benefits: Employer contributions to EPF and ETF in accordance with Sri Lankan regulations.
Tools: Company laptop and accessories provided for official duties.
Location: Position is based in Jaffna.
