Finally, there is closure, where the project is officially completed, results are reviewed, and lessons are recorded for the future.

They do not carry out all the work themselves, but they guide the team, solve problems, and keep everything on track. A successful project manager usually combines leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The Waterfall method follows a step-by-step process where one stage must finish before the next begins, which is common in construction and manufacturing projects. The Agile method, on the other hand, is flexible and fast, often used in software development, where work is done in short cycles, and changes are easily welcomed. Some organizations even use a hybrid approach, combining both methods depending on their specific needs. Choosing the right method always depends on the type of project and the goals of the organization.

Project management is not limited to large companies or complex industries. In fact, we all use it in our daily lives. Planning a birthday party, organizing a family trip, or renovating a home all require project management skills such as planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Even if we don’t call it “project management,” the principles are the same.
