Location: Orel Park, Panaluwa-Watareka, Padukka

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) in Cable and PVC laboratories.

• Train, guide, and supervise Quality Controllers (QCs).

• Execute production and QA cost-saving projects.

• Collaborate with the production team to improve process efficiency.

• Develop and maintain product specifications in compliance with ISO, SLS, IEC, BS, CEB, and LECO standards.

• Coordinate with suppliers for quality improvements and corrective actions.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues.

• Handle and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

• Conduct and support internal audits.

• Liaise with customers for cable selection and specification finalization.

• Review and recommend new testing equipment and methodologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following:

• NDT in Electrical Engineering or a BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Electrical, or PVC industries is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO-based QMS, internal audits, FAT, and testing standards.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and communication.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
