Electrical Engineer –  Traction Systems (Rail Project – India)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with experience in Traction Systems to be proposed for a Rail Infrastructure Project in India. The candidate must possess extensive experience in AC Traction Power Supply Systems for high-speed or conventional rail-based passenger transit systems.

Qualification Requirements

• Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification (MSc/MEng) in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
• Strong proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in any Rail based passenger Transit system
• Experience in Design / Review / Implementation of:
  • AC Power Supply Systems (including EHV Substations)
  • 25 kV AC Traction Systems
  • Rail-based Passenger Transit Systems
• Experience in projects with operational speed of 160 km/h or above
• Minimum 3 years of international experience under eligible assignments
• Must have experience in at least one eligible assignment as:
  • Senior Traction System Expert (or equivalent)
  • In a rail project with operational speed ≥160 km/h
