Artificial Intelligence (AI), and especially Generative AI, is now entering almost every professional field. Project management is no exception. But the real question is not whether AI will replace project managers. That is the wrong starting point. The more useful question is: how can AI help project managers work better?
මා ජීවත් වන්නේ පොදු ප්රවාහනය සියලු අංශවලින් සාර්ථකව ක්රියාත්මක වන මහා නගරයකය. එහි ජනගහනය මිලියන දහසයකි. නගරාන්තර දුම්රිය, අධිවේගි දුම්රිය, නගරාන්තර බස් සමඟ හොඳින් සම්බන්ධ කෙරෙන නගරය තුළ දිවෙන මෙට්රෝ, ට්රෑම්, තමන්ටම වෙන් වූ මංතීරු ඇති මෙට්රෝ බස් රථ, මහජන බස් රථ, කුඩා අතුරු මාර්ග භාවිත කරන ග්රාමීය බස් රථ ආදියට අමතරව හොඳින් නියාමනය කරන ලද ටැක්සි රථ සේවාවක්ද මෙහි වෙයි. මේ විසල් නගරය හා ප්රවාහන පද්ධතියට අන්තර්ජාතික අධිවේගි දුම්රිය මඟක් එකතු කිරීමේ ව්යාපෘතියකට මම හවුල් වී සිටිමි. මා දන්නා උසස් රැකියා කරන වෘත්තිකයන් බහුතරය ගමනාගමනය සඳහා තෝරා ගන්නේ මහජන ප්රවාහන සේවයයි.
At my Project Management training programmes, students occasionally raise an interesting question: Why is Safety Management not specifically categorized as a separate Project Management Knowledge Area or Performance Domain?

මම බොහෝ විට ගල්, වැලි, යකඩ සහ කොම්පියුටර් තිර අතර ජීවත් වන්නෙක්මි. ඒ අතරම ඒ ද්රව්ය අතරින් සිහින ගොඩනඟන මිනිසුන් සිය ගණනක් සමඟද මගේ ජීවිතය ගලා යයි. එහෙත් මේ සියලු දෙනා තුළ සැඟවී ඇති සෞන්දර්යය සොයා යෑමටද මම වෙහෙසෙමි. ඉංජිනේරු විද්යාව යනු ගණිතමය සූත්ර සහ සටහන්වලට පමණක් සීමා වූ ක්ෂේත්රයක් නොවිය යුතු බව සිතන සහෘදයන් මට නොඅඩුව මුණගැසී තිබේ. එය මිනිස් ආත්මයේ නිර්මාණශීලිත්වය සහ ගොඩනැඟීමේ අරමුණ එකට මුසු වූ සජීව භාෂාවකි.
