Material management is one of the most important parts of construction project management. In construction projects, materials such as cement, steel, sand, bricks, pipes and electrical items are used in large quantities. Managing these materials properly is essential to complete the project on time, maintain quality and control costs.
Site inspection is one of the most important activities in construction project management. It helps ensure that construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards and project requirements. Regular inspections help identify problems early, improve quality and reduce costly mistakes.
Artificial Intelligence is entering almost every professional field, and project management is no exception. Many discussions around AI begin with a dramatic question: Will AI replace project managers? I think that is the wrong question. A more useful question is: which parts of project management can AI improve, and which still require strong human judgment?
Artificial Intelligence (AI), and especially Generative AI, is now entering almost every professional field. Project management is no exception. But the real question is not whether AI will replace project managers. That is the wrong starting point. The more useful question is: how can AI help project managers work better?
At my Project Management training programmes, students occasionally raise an interesting question: Why is Safety Management not specifically categorized as a separate Project Management Knowledge Area or Performance Domain?
Construction projects involve many parties, including clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers. Because of this, disagreements can sometimes arise during the project. These disagreements are known as disputes. If not handled properly, disputes can lead to delays, extra costs and damage to professional relationships. That is why dispute resolution is an important part of project management.
